Had my 16 birthday at Ramp City in Blackpool and broke my board in the first hour of being there, so that was 241

Somehow 38 for me. The vert one is tricky, I’m terrified of just dropping in on them, but happy to pump from the flat and then tailslide the bugger. Stupid mind games.

I miss the old playstation vert ramp with the roll in on the side that you could use to give you a feeling of skating vert a bit from the bottom without pumping like a lunatic to start.
41 or thereabouts.
Was kinda fun to jog the memory on a few things.
First one was Derby Storm. Big ramp but it was for a pint so…
They seemed easy after that, Bolton, Brum felt small for a vert ramp. Wouldn’t dare do anything else though. Didn’t even touch the coping.
27 for me, I’ll pop out at lunch and snap my board, probably a few more easy ones to get too.

The vert one should come top of my list of 50 things you can’t do any more.
I must have dropped in on vert ramps of all sizes tens of thousands of times in my life. It was just something I did so often I never even thought of it. I can’t do it now. I haven’t been able to do it for about ten years. If ever I stand at the top of a vert ramp and think about it I just freeze up.
The bizarre thing is that for the first time in my life I’m now about 2 sessions away from making backside ollies above the coping of the exact same vert ramps I’m too scared to drop in on.

Attend a wedding in skate shoes
Live in a skate house
Skate in costume
Skate into water
Skate a backyard pool
Do Wakey Sleepovers count?
