'Alright, OK'

I don’t think the clothes are ridiculous, just mildly embarrassing.

We’re talking about Bearle’s clothing right?

Crocket was pretty much just wearing jeans, a T-shirt and cap…

I mean, Gilbert does have his own jeans company so measuring seams comes with the territory.

Loaded this up. Jumped around the video a bit.

Cosplay Dylan is fucking ridiculous. It’s hard to imagine how you can do that much of a macabre homage to a dead person with a straight face.

Seeing Gilbert Hammer pants drawing some flash tattoo art and doing something with a drawing pin was enough to know I didn’t need to see his footage.

I used the dylan cosplay quote on a WhatsApp group and got this in reply

Yep. Exactly.

I suppose following trends in unconsciously reassuring for a lot of people, no matter how ridiculous said trends might be.

Just watched Gilbert’s section again. So good. Loving the backtail variations on that ledge up 3 stairs.

I think Berle’s a dreamboat. I’m not sure I’ve ever really seen a lot of footage of him so I almost went into it with a clean slate (besides his pro model, but I can’t even remember what that looks like). Yeah he looks a bit Dylan, but so do Austyn and Alex Olsen and it’s not something I judge them negatively for either. His skating didn’t appear particularly forced to me, but again that’s probably because I don’t remember seeing any footage from him. Thought his section was rad.

I was ready to love Crockett’s skating but hate his trousers. Trouser game was fine and the skating lived up to expectations. That backside flip, switch manual back to regs giffed above was the highlight of the whole video for me. So clean.

It makes me laugh how many people on here get so riled by people tucking in their shirts. Where do you all live? Tucked in t’s has been a thing in hardcore and punk since the 80s and never really left. I’ve never seen it as weird at all, I don’t see it as some ‘new’ trend. It’s like having a shirt unbuttoned or buttoned, it’s just a basic decision. Surely it’s like rolling up your pants, some people do it’s some people don’t. Big whoop. Outside of skating it’s not some weird ‘trend’ so why should it be in the skate community.

Edit: I also watch a lot of Seinfeld so many tucked in shirts and white trainers is normal to be because of that haha

Double edit: the only people in real life that complain to me about things like this are old men that get butt hurt about young people doing stuff they don’t, it’s always obvious they just feel left out. ‘I don’t do it so other people shouldn’t… it’s stupid’ etc

If you can show me somebody who isn’t influenced in some way by somebody else I’ll give you a million pounds. Even that guy that lives in the cave with the leopard tattoos is influenced by cavemen, so it’s easy to see how active, cultured people are influenced by the things they like enough to want to dress like it.

I don’t have a million pounds but I won’t need it.

cheers man

Who gives a fuck what anyone is wearing.

The skating was great & that’s all that matters.

Bunch of fashionists😄

I’m either getting old, retarded or just really don’t care about skateboarding, or maybe all, but is the some sort of acceptable uniform I’m not aware of in skateboarding?

I liked skateboarding because you could do and dress how you want, yeah you don’t have to be into everyone’s schtick, but it’s all part of the dna that makes skateboarding, right?

If it wasn’t mathematically impossible I would back tucking in 110%. I would like to see trousers tucked into socks as well.

If you want to tuck your shirt in, that’s cool with me. But all I can think of is David Brent when he does that gig as a motivational speaker.

I forget to untuck when I get off my bike sometimes and realise I’ve been rocking a powerful 3/4 leg sock/trackie bottoms tuck. Mike Wright style. Didn’t Magee apparently refuse to film him if he rocked the sock tuck? Haha
