Only watched it once.
Gilbert’s part was full of really good stuff. Not his best part but that might have to do with the editing. Really good, interesting and inspiring skating.
Eli Berle. Well… I’m 39.

Well, it seems I’m definitely the contrarian here as I much preferred Berle’s part (let a significantly audible “ooft” at his ender) and thoroughly the style of editing to ‘In Dreams’ (regardless of its previous use), despite the very valid points raised in regards to his Rieder pastiche.

That said, I’d 100% rock the singlet (with more appropriate length trousers obviously) and the greaser quiff if I was blessed with the requisite torso and hair type. Tried it back in the late 90’s, looked like Richard Simmons dressed up as Derek Vinyard.

The main thing with peoples getup that really fucking annoys me is that people are consciously tucking in their tops because it’s fashionable. It shows the opposite of what they want to convey. They’re probably thinking “yeah man, i’m really being individual, expressing myself” but they’re just showing how weak and needy they are.

Maybe they’re thinking “that looks cool, I wanna look cool, if I look cool I might get laid.”

That’s about as far as my thought process went when I was that age.

Lives up to the name.

The clothes were totally fine, surely? What’s anybody getting at there? Dylan isn’t the first dude to wear black trousers and a white vest.

I’m glad people are wearing their own shit and confusing/annoying old people. Imagine everybody dressed like Stacy Peralta. Things change.

Or just ‘re-issued’.
