Mark Appleyard skating Hyde Park on his own one morning before/after a Globe(?) demo. Not charging but clearly so comfortable on his board and confident that everything would stick.

Kris Vile in the street section of Creation. Front shuv from flat bank to grind down the quarter to the right. Nothing to him but was just showing his board control. Was a cut above.

As Mike Wright and Kris Vile have been mentioned in here it seems appropriate to post this Andy Evans clip from the War of the Roses contest held at The Works back in 2007.
Some of the best contest sessions I’ve ever witnessed happened that day - quite a few forum heads were in attendance too.
Ed Templeton phoned me when the contest footage went up (cmoac) after Mike Wright’s performance at this one. Literally like ‘who the fuck is this kid? I need his number now Ben’

Being down The House when I started skating and watching Matlok Bennett Jones doing whatever he felt like, wherever he felt like and at whatever speed he fancied, all with consummate style and nonchalance (and some of the best hair in skateboarding). That was pretty jaw-dropping to me.

Totally. He’s amazing. He was skating the flo park in nottingham before one of the UK champs throwing bs 360 kickflips over the pyramid and didnt miss one
