Brilliant and powerful
You don’t think those countries are capable of looking after their own history? What about now returning the artefacts?
fair point. a lot of european history/artifacts would have been destroyed in war if it wasn’t looked after properly but that doesn’t account for all of it. a lot of that history would’ve been safer outside Europe for the last century
perhaps each artifact should be reviewed properly. a lot of the colonial artifacts will have certainly been stolen and probably should be returned. it’s a shame though, I learnt so much about British colonialism and African history from the British museum’s Africa wing. none of it is taught in schools

So. Fucking. Sad.

I’ve been out and about today so been unaware of what’s been going on until just now.
Thick and dangerous people.

Scenes on BBC at the moment don’t look very friendly.

Do you reckon the footy louts will take this rediscovered level of racism and aggression back into the stands when they’re allowed back in?
Just another like brexit to divide our society
Too right. We could see the rise of more counter cultures due to the mainstream mass being obvious massive bell ends again.

My fucking thick and ignorant right wing racist cousin tweeted “Corbyn’s mob burning down London” last week.
Oh how ironic.
Fucking hate them all.
Hope so
I don’t want slogans like this to be a way of normalising racist attitudes. If these people were not so small-minded and paranoid they wouldn’t feel victimised by the #BLM protesters who are campaigning for equality regardless of ethnic background.
“I’m going to leave that thing up there and let my village see it,” she said.
“If we wash it away, it’s like it didn’t really happen and I want people to remember it”.
She’s smarter than the sum total of the gene pool sloshing around Parliament Square today.
