Branston Beans have edged out Heinz as the nations bean imo.
God no.
Except the Hash Browns and Toast.
I sometimes chuck chilli flakes into beans and they go onto toast, like proper toast not warm bread. Job done
Beans and assorted legumes do not agree with me anymore so I’m reading this bean chat with envy
I fucking hate baked beans and I get a notification every time someone posts in this thread as I started it!
I love a stogey bean, hob only, a low setting for like 30-40 mins.
P.s. fuck a ramakin, too little beans and wiffs of gentrification.
Congratulations you do beans correctly.
Thank you.
It’s serious business.
Nothing worse than watery hard beans.
I wouldn’t eat that either tbh. Veggie all day.
Yeah always low and slow if you’ve got the time
Just had beans on toast for lunch.
You can all add ‘influencers’ to your CV.
I’m at the office today so I had to resort to a spicy bean wrap from Tesco
Studio day. 3 bean soup.
I had a smoothie, basically same combo for lunch every day:
1x banana
1x cup dry porridge
1x cup kama (like some weird Estonian wheat thing that gives it texture)
1x cup raisins
1x cup frozen fruit, strawberries, blueberries etc
1x cup oat milk
1x cup water
1x cup yoghurt
And when I say ‘1x cup’ I mean just whatever looks about right.
Some of you may say ‘wow sounds super healthy, don’t you get hungry later on in the day?’ and you would be 100% correct. There is a place that only sells different types of ‘artisan fries’ about 3 mins from my office
Similar thing, clearly different goals.
I do my own take on the Rob Mcelhenney method when he was Fat Mac.
1/2 pint full fat milk (ice cream if I have it)
1 banana
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp honey
2 scoops ULTIMATE MASS GAINER
1 scoop oats
1 tsp olive oil for extra calories
If there’s enough space left in the thing I’ll sometimes add some chia seeds. Even without them it’s thick enough to chew (if I add any more liquid it doesn’t fit in my cute little belly), so I only add them if I’m really hungry.
It’s a ridiculous amount of calories, and obviously very, very healthy.
I eat these out the can with a spoon, so good. Also eat spinach in my baked beans everytime on toast for brekky with extra virgin olive oil on top
+1 for spinach with beans.
a little chilli, a smidgeon of cheese, boom
(cannot believe willingly eating black pudding is a thing. yes im a wet and a weed)
