Blodney you plonker!

You’d expect some hash browns, veggie sausage and beans with that.

Especially at £15. Luckily I wasn’t paying

Beans are not a dip.

Nobody wants their bacon covered in beans, but if you do you can pour it out of you ramekin.

I want to decide where my beans go thanks.

Use a sausage as a breakwater.

Sacrilege! It’s beans ON toast. Not beans next to toast.

Pre-cooking, I strain off some of the bean juice. If I have the time I cook in a saucepan. If you slightly over do the toast, it remains crunchy beneath the beans.

I’m all about the soggy bean toast. If the toast still retains any of its internal structure then there aren’t enough beans.

Best thing you can do with beans is add a teaspoon of mustard, some fried onions & garlic, a teaspoon of tomato puree and worcestershire sauce.

Next level amazing.

Or add sausages, bacon, hash browns, black pudding, white pudding, lorne sausage, fried slice, two rounds of toast, mushrooms, chips and a pint.

All this baked beans talk makes me think they’ve earned their own thread.

Well we’ve reached the point where people insist on adding the contents of their kitchen into them so I think it’s over.

I don’t think so. There has to be a debate as to which is the best baked bean manufacturer.

IMO Asda do the best beans. Slightly thicker and richer sauce, plus they do veggie sausages and beans which is a great addition.

Tesco or Aldi beans are the worst in my eyes. Runny and taste crap.

I also don’t understand people who hype up Heinz. They’re average at best.
