Blodney you plonker!

By no means an expert but I’d say the level Palace is on these days there is probably some level of exclusivity maybe? Either from Palace’s end or from a brand like Burberry

Or maybe he didn’t really fancy associating himself with a brand that bases so much of it’s image around smoking weed, getting fucked and house music. What Palace is now feels very different to what it was when he first got on

Maybe that’s it, you would think he would’ve turned pro on them at least.

Do you think that’s the excuse flip are using to not turn Nordberg pro :joy:

They took on Nordberg to hopefully do a Penny, he has that super chilled style and the potential but I guess Nordberg is a pretty decent Method actor and did a full penny and is invisible.
Jk obv

I still maintain that Mike Wright would have been 174% better fit for flip than Nordberg.

A few minutes after lunch… This website - https://jha.com.cutestat.com - links Blondey’s Gran’s cooking website, Heni gallery website, and Joseph Hage Aaronson litigation specialists (http://uk.jha.com) website to the same address. So I think it’s pretty safe to say the Heni gallery Joe Hage is the same as the working for Prince of Brunei Joe Hage.

Reckon you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who disagrees with that

Lol you’re too much

Yeah good detective work on finding out Blondey’s dad represents a piece of shit, but at the same time that is kinda part and parcel of being a lawyer isn’t it? You’re not always representing the good cause so to speak

No but you can pick and choose your clients if you value morals over money. Morals don’t pay the bills or get your kid opportunities.
Off topic a little but I have wondered how Jack Whitehall ever got any work. I’m sure I heard his dad has some BBC clout so assumed he got work through his dad influence, because there is no other way he’d have had a sniff at anything otherwise. I just have an image of his Dad knowing some dirt on some BBC toffs and uses it to get his son opportunities.
I’m too lazy to dig but i’d be interested to hear what the deal is with him if anyone feels inclined to have a look? ha

Yeah fair point…

Jack Whitehall’s mum was an actress and dad a fairly big name TV producer/ agent. Explains everything pretty nicely

He was pretty good at playing himself in Fresh Meat.

Also the photos of Jack Whitehall doing coke of a dirty step in the street appear to have vanished from the internet.

I’m also a bit mystified by his success, he seems to be doing what ageing comedians do eventually when they stop being as funny and just slowly morphing into a light hearted presenter/poor actor.

Jack Whitehall is fine in micro doses. Fresh meat was an enjoyable show and he was fine in it cos of the character he was playing. But yeah, prolonged tv chat show appearances are too much thanks.

Begs the question re Blondey, is ‘Blondey McCoy’ a character or just an alias. Or at what point does an alter ego become your true self if you live it long enough?

And the most important question, did he give himself the nickname Blondey McCoy or did other people give him it and he just ran with it? When I was at school giving yourself a nickname was the complete opposite of cool

yeah his mate hetty gave the nickname to him in morley’s camberwell after her first year art show

Blonde of Palace > Prince of stoning Gays

Jesus! Good detective work!

Long read all that. Took most of it in I think.

Only thing I’ll say is Jack Whitehall is an unfunny dick.

Always thought Flip missed a trick not hooking up Barney Page instead of/or with Nordberg at the time. Nordberg is 80% park skater, it must be hard finding new natural trannies, ditches, banks to wall, banks to ledge in the wild to make your skating legit.
It’s worked out better for Barney that they didn’t, with the way Flip are at the moment.
