Yeah definitely. I get that. The cost of failure is lower, you’re not getting yourself massively in debt or gonna end up aged 50 with a life spent in fruitless endeavours and no safety net, but there’s also a weight of expectation from above that either drives you to do what’s expected of you or to reject it completely. I guess it’s a sign of good parenting that Blondey has chosen not to reject what his old man has to offer.
Quite interesting to ponder. My kids are gonna be ok for money in a way I never was, I wonder how that will afffect them.

So much life and opportunity wasted because of financial risk, and plenty fail when they do make the leap.
I’d love to give up my day job to concentrate on music and art but I know that neither will make me enough money to be able to.
Yeah success doesn’t always mean making money, but most of us have to pay our own bills.
So instead of pursuing success where we feel we might have talent, we pursue paying the bills instead.
The kind of life where all the costs of daily existence are a given is unimaginable for most people.
