3,460 subs Vs 172,000 subs.
Blondey has 2.5k views now at the 10 hour mark. 72% of his total subs have watched it.
5.8% of total Jenkem subs have watched it (At the 10 hour mark, too).
Of course, not all people watching it are subscribers. So, you can lower those numbers…probably by the same percentage for each.
Blondey show numbers aren’t great. Arguably, it got released at a terrible time of day/week.
10pm on a Tuesday night on YouTube isn’t going to do well.
Conversely Jenkem releasing at the same time would have been 1pm PST.
So, they’d hit the busy YT time period…Which Blondey has yet to do for GMT.
But also, neither audience is limited to their local time zone exclusively. Although blondey is probably more than Jenkem.
Overthinking? Yes. I’ve hammered caffeine already.
Blondey numbers aren’t good. But Jenkem are worse.

Blondey does have 300k followers on insta though, so I’d say it’s not as far off in terms of reach as your post suggests, but totally different things, other than just being skate adjacent content.

Wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I expected but still, not for me.
I can’t tell how many layers of humble brag/ego trip/laughing at oneself to peel away to find what it really is. Maybe it’s cleverly orchestrated that way so we never really know who Blondey is and what his reasoning for this is… he still gets to tell his story regardless.
I’m sure he’ll be pitching something to the BBC. They’re so desperate and skint they’ll probably broadcast it if he sells it cheap enough. It wasn’t funny, it was too slow to make it through without skipping and it was self absorbed…almost, but not quite…to the point of parody.

My brother does a hugely successful podcast with a yt channel, going on for 1.5 million subs. I’ve been on a load of times. Really freaky knowing a shit load of people will hear your inane ramblings
