Definitely tallies with my recollections.
Yes and no. There are six 30 minute episodes so either second storylines will develop soon (which would be a plus) or not…
Are you saying that 6, 30 min episodes is not enough time to develop side stories, sub plots and other characters? Most UK series are short runs. The Office for instance was 30min, 6 episode seasons (with a few specials later). You learnt a lot about all the different people involved quickly, it was written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who were unknowns at the time but UK series are a lot shorter then American ones in general.
I’ve also noticed that the Blondey show is heavy on telling the audience everything that is happening, when the rule to great tv/movie is show don’t tell. It has a lot of short comings as a piece of entertainment viewing. I’m not saying it doesn’t have potential but he/they should have fleshed it out more before filming.

Grind was such a fantastic example of how to be a kook of a skater.
But had some absolutely ridiculous skaters in it doing very silly things.
“Hard…… slash wet” made me laugh
Would rather have “Super Aids” than watch any more of this shite!
Got The Skateboard Kid 2 on vhs. I think Willy Santos is in it if I remember rightly. Probably my earliest memory of skating catching this on some random channel in the 90s
Does the skateboard kid go back in time for the skateboard kid 2?
James Blond?
God, imagine Blondey as 007…
