Yeah, but even then lets not pretend you’re running an old Toyota or something. I bet when the early 90s cars were relatively new everyone was moaning about how much better the older ones were. I guess there’s a bit of a process of natural selection that goes on though and the really bad ones have fallen off the road by now.
Well cars dropped off. Work getting done this week, have dropped £900 already probs gunna be another £300 with tyres and tracking.
If this doesn’t feel like a brand new skate shoe next Saturday when I get it back after running some floppy piece of shit for the last two months I’m gunna be pretty gutted.

Going through a VW/Audi specialist instead of a normal garage. I really fucking hope it feels different there’s other stuff to do like get a new bonnet and boot but yer this thing ain’t getting through an MOT right now.
Should sail through MOT in November after this. Then I need to decide what to do with it.

Control arms being replaced but I can’t see bushings on that list? You having them done too? Should help it feel tighter. Sometimes the whole suspension set up and top mounts and everything just need a bit of a tighten up to improve things. My van rattles its mountings loose after a while and needs a tweak.

If it’s someone you know he’s probably already determined that the bushings are fine. They last years and they are expensive for what they are.
Commute is M40 A40 past Witney, so the roads aren’t trash but it’s gunna tick over 158k miles soon. Iv had it since 127 I think.
Yer I love it. But I have no idea what to get that’s just normal. I got this because I’d always wanted one before I could drive.
Had a Honda Jazz 1.2, then a Golf Mk5 1.6tdi that was borrowed - then this. Only cars Iv had.
It’s just lots of nightly things and one humongous fuck up this summer that I would say was 30% my fault.

Feels like a new car to drive after all the anti roll bar, cv boot and all kinds of other shit.
Basically the engine is working perfectly, everything perfect, but old whatever pipe this is couldn’t handle it.
Easier to post this than write it. Tricky weekend, so nearly there to have this back as a daily, reliable car.
New part ordered only £15. I’m so close to never talking about my car again. MOT booked in. This has been an awfully expensive month.

I need to find some replacement headlights for my van to convert it over for LHD to register it in France, has anyone got any tips where to look? In europe ideally do avoid fun customs fees from uk.

The T25 was badged as a camper Wolfsburg edition. Looked like legit vw badges, it was also LHD
