Not strictly car related but I was just about to order some vinyl to wrap my new fridge freezer in and the rep gave me the cost per metre and I had to choose another. £85 per metre and he said they had just done a famous footballers lamborghini in the same vinyl.
Be funny to say that my fridge is the lamorghini of fridges but the wrap would have cost more than the fridge itself.
I had one and I miss it every day.
My work has a load of new land cruiser 79s sitting outside at the moment, I love them but they are way bigger in person than I’d expected.
I’d be interested to see a new one, they were never the smallest back in the day.
It was what I would have got if I hadn’t got the merc estate, they’re rad and absolutely huge for their time . The saloons lowered are beast mode .
LOVE those.
I’ve got a real urge to get an old Peugeot 403 pickup but we already have a little van with 2 seats and will probably need something with more space soon. It exists as an estate but I think kind of rare, maybe I’ll have a go at converting one into some kind of dual cab short bed when I’ve got the space.
I’d only ever seen them online and was expecting something more old ford ranger proportions but they are pretty chunky really
There’s a lovely little old Suzuki Jimmy sitting round the back too with a DC shoes badge instead of the Suzuki one for some reason.
Guaranteed many happy miles of trouble and corrosion free motoring there!
Is this normal, are people wrapping fridges? Whaaat
Finished it tonight, bright orange satin. And no, I don’t think people are necessarily doing it, not seen anyone else but I work with vinyl and wanted to make my new fridge less mundane. my old one was wrapped dark blue.
@notactuallyhere You know you might be on to something. Mike York was joking about wrapping his washer and dryer with this photoshopped York as Jabba the Hutt whilst on the Nine Club a couple of weeks back. (Around the 1:25 mark).
Well that’s sealed the deal then hasn’t it.
The estate version is pretty sick actually and there were a few for sale on the french gumtree equivalent. 7 seats too
That’s a lovely, lovely thing.
I don’t imagine it would be overtaking much with 7 seats full but that’s not a car for speed for sure.
