That was really interesting, it seems to me that industry as a whole needs a little rethink on EV’s and these ridiculously powerful examples are too common now.
It’s also crazy to me how much people will pay to lease Land Rover now and they’re not the most reliable either.

A friend of mine has just taken delivery of a 4 series M50 or whatever it’s called. 2.9 or maybe 3.9s to 60 and a £72k price tag. Asking him, he says all good for local journeys but to quote ‘a fucking pain in the arse for long journeys’ as the infrastructure isn’t quite there, plus it’s really expensive to top up away from home. It’s a company car so various tax incentives for him, but £70k and 5-600bhp to go to Sainsbury’s is quite frankly batshit/hilarious to me 
I’d consider a leccy for the school runs and pottering around town but I’d still need the Touareg for towing

Yeah we have a Leaf for local trips and apart from being ugly as sin it’s the best round town car I ever had. Silent, easy to drive, fast enough, comfy and completely reliable. It is ugly, though.
Living on a road with 2 school gates, these kinds of vehicles are fucking terrible. Tiny people driving picking up one tiny person, not knowing the width of their vehicle, parking shit and holding everyone up and blocking in school busses.
