That looks ace. I want one of those!

They are sick which is why we want to get it registered in France rather than just sell it. We use it for camping sometimes, I can lie down fully in the back of it at 6ft tall and I’ve had 700kg in the back before for a short trip to the scrapyard. It’s surprisingly capable

Looks like the Carry was only sold in Japan, no LHD countries. So your only option is, I think, to either modify the lens glass (do not) or buy aftermarket units (Fits SUZUKI Carry EVERY MK4 99-05 Guide LED Angel-Eye Halogen Headlight BK LHD | eBay). Even then I would triple check this is good for LHD.

I don’t know of any database as such where people note duplicate car parts across brands.

Sometimes LHD/RHD are listed in parts catalogs (and this one was a little easier to navigate) but I couldn’t find any other options for headlamps aside for ones for the Japanese domestic market

Thanks for hunting, my other back up plan was to find the closest match and modify the front of the van to fit them. I think I can do a half decent job and the van has so many bumps and bruises on it any ay from.being parked in Marseille for a year that you wouldn’t know anyway

All good man but bear in mind you have an integrated indicator lamp in that unit which isn’t that common afaik

Could be stuck with two fucking hunks of shit like me

It’s ok, nobody uses them in France anyway.

It’ll all be fine, it’s my Mrs van anyway, I scrapped my car in the UK and bought a worse thing here

I’m here too, blown engine in my maz and a limping by van

plus a KTM in need of an engine build

Also really good that you mentioned the indicator because there’s a real high chance I would have forgotten about that and only realised when I finished the job

They called the campers the Bambi
It was terrible

Looks like it would be fun in a crosswind.

Just had to get two new tyres on our little Nissan. Parked up and actually heard air pissing out. Couldn’t see anything obvious until I took the wheel off. It had tons of tread on one side and had worn right through on the other.

Looked at the other wheel and it was the same way out. The tracking was absolutely miles out but must have been about even both sides because it drove okay. Feels a lot better now, though.

Wow thats some wear! Bloody lucky you caught it at this stage .

Bloody great this , bravo the guy’s behind it .

A year or so ago, YouTube recommended a video to me that I liked (& then subscribed).

Coincidentally, an unexpected part 2 was posted last night.

150hrs into it already and he’s not even done, all to save a Bedford Rascal. Absolute madness, love it.

Had a drive in this yesterday and absolutely loved it so we’re picking it up on Saturday:
