Can anyone suggest the best way of selling my car quickly? Not sure I trust these sites like Carwow and Webuyanycar etc as from what I’ve heard/read, they’ll give you a decent price and then drop it shit loads when they actually come to get it.
Just need my car gone asap really as getting a new one
WBAC can be worth a shout if time is a factor, you just make an appointment, take it to them and they’ll give you a price, you don’t have to take it and you know you’ll have no other hassles.
I used wbac for a car that literally broke down as I parked it up in their car park and they were pretty decent about price considering it was a total heap
I actually ended up using a company called Flipit and they were really good. Offered me a much higher price than the other quick sale sites and the process was really easy. Dude came to check the car, spent five minutes looking at it and then sent me an email link for the payment. Got the money in my account within 2 mins and then he took the car right away.
Have a good couple of hours out this evening. Tried to do a few bits on repeat. I have a short attention span normally and rarely try anything more than twice.
We had a pod point charger that lasted for five years, so not great. Have a hypervolt now and it seems okay, works with octopus tariffs etc. Not sure on the deal with house electrics.
I got a Tesla charger in the post long before my car arrived and I booked a charger install with these guys https://www.ev-wales.co.uk/ at a quoted price of £825.
After booking, they rang me and told me to apply for grant which was literally just entering my address and email into a form online. It gave me a code which I gave to them and reduced the price to £475.
When they came to install it they realised I had a 60A fuse so they applied to the National Grid on my behalf for an upgrade. The National Grid contacted me a few days later and then came round and uprated me to 100A for free.
A few days after that EV-Wales ran a test on my supply, gave it the ok, and sent me my installation certificates in the post.
It was super easy and I haven’t had any issues at all.
Had someone crash in to me on Friday. My insurance put me in touch with a ‘Claims Management’ company.
It seems so criminal, they wanted me to sign a contract where I’d be liable for £280 a day for a hire car if they couldn’t recover costs from the other side.
The mad thing is they put me through as if I was still on the phone to my insurers.
