I remember Gary or Ray from HSC having one of these (late 90s). I only remember because I’d never seen one until then.

Had that the other week, but at a much less dangerous speed. Was waiting to put my ticket in at a parking barrier and some old biddy reversed into me.

Did fuck all to the car, but got him to stop anyway. Poor old bloke was shook up, and shouldn’t have been driving. Just reiterated to him to be careful.

An old guy in a VW camper squeezed me into the curb and then knocked my wing mirror off when I was driving the other morning. Absolute bellend.

I saw him come up behind me and I was trying to get out of his way when he crossed the lines into my lane. I curbed both alloys pulling left as far as I could, then he passed me and knocked my mirror off. We stopped at lights and I pulled alongside him and was shouting out of the window and he just gripped the steering wheel and stared straight ahead.

I leaned out and tapped on his window and he looked across and I was like ‘Why did you do that?’ and he just ignored me! Ha. I thought maybe the mirror had just popped out so I shouted ‘Be more careful!’ and carried on when the lights changed.

It hadn’t popped out, it had snapped and it cost me about £300 to have a new one fitted.

Wouldn’t mind one of those.

They’re the best BMW. I loved my E30, first car I ever owned and still the holder of my personal land speed record when I got it up to about 135 on the M55.

In that case you have to get on the motorway and find out how fast it can possibly go. It’s the rule.

Not learnt to drive yet, i’m going to learn in the one I bought. Just going to drive in the early hours on my own until I can do it.

Yeah Seats are nice. Always decent looks with pretty solid VW underpinnings :+1:

Yeah, a car like that is pretty much a young lads right of passage, haha. It’s good you’re doing it correct still at 43 and not gone straight to a dad mobile.

Yeah, that’ll see you good for donuts/burn-outs in empty carparks :+1:

Thanks, is way more boyracer than I planned but fuck it, it came up on my lap and there we go.

Looks nice, black wheels. Well done.

I had an E30 too, and loved it. Not many modern cars have the same tactile quality. Lovely steering and driving position and the car is super easy to place on the road. I had an estate though and I lost the back end a few times due to shit driving/wet roads/slightly leggy suspension.

The one up there is quite nice but has a few dodgy aftermarket bits. I like the hand-written history.

the budget Volvo has its MOT today, thoughts and prayers please.
