Cars

My little sister works at a car insurance workshop.

‘Plenty of messes’ this morning apparently.

“Help me left this tree and put it on the car love, it’s worth more on paper!” Type messes?

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I was sent a pic and it didn’t LOOK like £50k worth of damage

Ha it only came up on my YouTube yesterday.

All warning lights dealt with on the GTI, very happy. Nothing serious, but stoked to have a nice clean dash.

My current car has a frost warning light just on the right on the dashboard. The exact same spot as the engine warning light in my old one. Panic every time I see it out the corner of my eye.

Yer man. Bare annoying and I think my car will instantly die.

Well stoked on the new Corrola, got literally every bit of kit you could ask for (aside from heated steering wheel), it’s dead silent around town, stays totally flat round the bends and I’m averaging over 50mpg just driving as normal. Wicked car

We’ve had a few corrollas as hire cars through work and they’re really nice! They’ve always been the hybrid ones and they just feel really well made and everything’s just generally nice.

Averaging 22 :frowning:

do you have driving gloves?

My Volvo is so shit on fuel I was convinced for a while I must be leaking it somewhere, saving it for big loads and wifes Micra otherwise.

Well that looks cool.

Changed an interior bulb in my car. So proud.

Petrol needs to be cheaper.

I’ve taken to not driving, that works for now.

Just noticed the new Merc SL is out. Pretty nice if you’re enough of an extrovert to drive something like this!

Posted recently that my Golf wouldn’t die … Well the cost of welding meant it’s not worth repairing. In the market for a new motor, no idea what to look for as im not that clued up. Ideally can’t spend more than £8000 - £10,000.

Liking the look of this though; Is that good or a rip off? Anything comparable to that to look for. Cheers car lads

I’d say that’s a lot of money for an older shape C class, but used car prices are higher than ever right now so it might be right and I’m just out of touch.

Have a look at a VW Passat estate too…you could get a new shape one for that money or an older one for way less and both are as good as the Merc.
