Aw mate that sucks. All the feels. Spaniels are wicked!
Is the top pick the 16 year old? Looks in great nick for that age

Sorry to hear that @Sleipnir. It’ll take a while to get over the loss.
Yes the black one. He never had grey hair and he was always active right up to the end
Aww sorry man. RIP big guy. Been there a couple times, it hurts but slowly gets better and then you’re left with awesome memories. Horrible when it happens though.
At least he got to do his two favourite things in the morning, walk and eat! Bet he had a rocking time.
Sorry to hear that pal.

Lovely. My cocker is looking at me right now - “Put that phone down and give me a cuddle!!” Kind of look.
We adopted two cats this morning. Jack (2) and Olive (1). Jack has one eye (like me lol!). They’re just settling in at the moment.
Awesome! Congrats.
They’re super cute.

They are best buddies. Sleep together under the sofa, Olive is a bit more timid and Jack seems to do the scouting for her to make sure things are ok. Ronnie our 11 year old initially hissed and now growls, but Jack is trying his best to be friends.
They’ll get there eventually, no rush.
The shame is that we initially couldn’t view as we were going on holiday, but they were still at the RSPCA when we came back. Obviously because of Jacks eye. But they’re both lovely and well natured.
Progression. Great!
Yeah man, of course it’s gonna take a while until they all get along. It always does.
They look great! They wouldn’t be chilling like this if they weren’t feeling good at yours. ![]()
Daughter wants an axolotl and would need all the gumph and paraphenalia from ground zero.
Anyone know about them and what a full christmas complete would cost. Also, inevitiably, how much work will it be for me to keep alive?
The only thing I know about them is they can regrow limbs and you have to feed them worms. My sister in law had a couple for a while. If I remember rightly they also live for a long time as well
Pete looks ace.
Aside from being a combination of Batman / Joker, he really reminds me ‘something’.
So to follow up.
They’ve both settled in really well. Jack is a lovely little fella. Olive has always been a bit cagey with people. They get on with Ronnie and Nuala the Dog absolutley fine.
Unfortunately Olive started limping a couple of weeks back, one of her back legs really painful as she was quite vocal about it. Went to vets, couldn’t see/feel anything wrng, gave metacam and off we went. No better after a week so booked for X-Ray. X-Ray found a lump of ‘something’ in her knee joint, so thats being looked at by a specialist. If they can’t operate (no doubt at great ££££’s and dependent upon insurance cover) it’ll have to be amputated ![]()
Bit of a rough day all round yesterday…
Ahh no. I hope it gets sorted. Although you would be amazed how they can cope with it. There is one local to us we’ve named Mr hoppy who gets about a bit.
I hope this can get sorted but if she has to get amputated, it’ll cost money but money is just money, she’ll be happy in the end, so will you and it’s the only thing that matters.
Crossing my fingers for all of you. ![]()
