Iāve used chatgpt this week to help do some scripting. Worked pretty well but it needed a lot of testing, read throughs, back outs and so on. Got there in the end and it is better than what I could have done in a couple of days.

Anyone using ai to build websites? Whatās the deal?
All of yesterdays changes went well considering I only found out what was needed on Wednesday. Gonna start using it to refine my database backup/maintenance shell scripts that I wrote from scratch back in 2019. It rarely produces working code straight out of the box for a few reasons, and it misses some basics here and there but overall once you get your tester hat on you can really breeze through work that would have taken a while a decade or two ago.

Itās like answering the questions for a brief, pretty thorough, asks you age range your targeting, look and feel, what trade the websites for and it builds it with graphics and dummy text in front of you, quite impressive. Thereās plenty like it.
