Christmas 2024

So much scalextric as a kid, had a permanent set up in the attic . kinda gutted I let my dad flog it at the car boot .
Always wanted a Tamiya RC car , should probably just buy myself one right now

Never had a Tamiya but some posher kids in the street had grasshoppers and Cats.

One year my brother got the Falcon and I got one of these:

That was a good Christmas

All these 80’s toys/stuff look amazing.

Cheapo bmx with a phonecard in the spokes to make a really loud motorbike noise, happy days

I saw this in an Antique shop a couple of years ago. I had exactly the same one around 83-4. As soon as I saw it my brain did a fast show intro style montage back to that year.

Mate had one and yeah, don’t think we actually played it. Similar to my Timpo cowboys and Indian train set. Batteries leaked and whole thing was fucked.

Still got mine at my dad’s house.

Also this too however I’ve been told it can’t be found:

I won’t be happy if it has gone missing as that’ll be one of my little sisters “friends” after I moved out…

Ah shit i had that. Remember feeling really grown up and tech progressing from normal lego

Wanted that one but had this and I constantly kept building different chassis and making Rally tracks I used to drive round.

EDIT: Holy shit, i’m tempted

I still can’t say “well done” without adding the word bigtrak… as per the advert.
