I don’t know what that bigtrak thing is or what it does, but I know I want one. That shit looks built to last forever.
Been shopping around for one for my ahem daughter, she has zero interest so i’ll just have to step in
After a little research , it seems like the choice is vast and complicated. Any RC experts feel free to weigh in ….
Tamiya? Just pick one you like the look of and go for it. Unless you wanted something you don’t have to build yourself then there’s all sorts of good cheap ones out there.
I visited a Tamiya shop in Korea in the Summer and there is a ridiculous amount of choice, personally I’ve always wanted a Grasshopper.
I did have a monster truck one as a kid and loved it though, ruined a fair few plants in my parents garden with it.
I love a Tamiya, and have a few.
The Grasshopper is an excellent choice IMO. I’ve had a couple and bought one for my Son about 5 years ago. Still going strong.
The Hornet is almost the same but has a bigger motor and slight upgrades.
Both need building, but they’re not complicated.
Is it OK to post links? I’ve used these people several times and service is always good…
Worth getting into for the box art alone
Why did we need ipads and apps and shit. These toys look amazing and I want them all.
Bloody hell, yes. Memory unlocked.
Demolition Derby?
Had this motherfucker, the Terra Scorcher. Pretty sure it was my last big present before skateboarding took over, because there are pictures of me out with this thing, and also a skateboard.
Or smash up Derby or something
Used to love it, just smashing shit to pieces then putting it all back and doing it again for hours, what’s not to like?!?
Wow. Just the stickers on all those things above are bringing up memories from looong ago.
We had a Race and Chase, it was fucking BRILLIANT, I can still smell the burning engine and melting rubber tyres that ended up getting lots of tiny bits of black shit all over the carpet
I’m loving all this.
Another unlocked.
I loved these so much.
Couldn’t have them now, with your bitcoin portfolio in the back.
What was the ‘cars crashing into each other’ thing that had panels on the cars that span round, with the dents appearing after a bump?
Sounds like Neddy in the cars thread
