Oof, fuck. That’s them.

was going to mention those but then left work.

Bought this to make christmas day with the little one.

See now I really want a Tamiya for Christmas, found out this place is only round the corner too so I can support my local:

I had a Race & Chase too, good fun with my dad. I would have been really young at the time, so under 6 maybe. Pressing the button to do the handbrake turns was ace haha

Bunch of kids on the 25th going to be all, ‘What the fuck is this thing dad?’ this year.

What has this thread become it’s more like Christmas 1984.

But on that theme…my Nan died in 1984 and she left money to buy Christmas presents for us. I got three Zoids and some Gobots. Pretty sure Transformers weren’t out then cos I was never into them but my younger brother was.

Great isn’t it.

Great nostalgia hit here ,

I got one of these , bloody loved mixing everything together and seeing what happens when you put it under the Bunsen burner.
You’d never have that today ! The chemicals and fire alone would have law suits .

Oh man. My Uncle had that!

We didn’t have a clue what to do with any if it. Just glad I didn’t try eating any of it I guess.

Anyway, what’s everyone buying their partner? Least favourite job of the year and I end up throwing money at the problem everytime due to a lack of original ideas and leaving it last minute. We don’t need anything and don’t have the space to put anything anywhere but there still needs to be a pile of presents under the tree. It’s bollocks

What’s your Mrs into? I’m on the look out for a decent winter hat for mine. Trying to work out if I can get away with picking one up of eBay.

Anybody ever have these, Burnin’ Key Cars?

Push a key in the back, squeeze it and off it went

I had that blue one.

Still have Giant Zoid Zrk floating about here somewhere, along with a large collection of Transformers from 84-88. My son got fully into Transformers from about age4 or so, the updated versions of what I had are so much cooler.

I used a load of this kind of thing for a video a while ago

The difference between girls toys and boys toys is pretty mad. Nature or nurture?

Everything she’s into, she’s got. Not like we’re Richie Rich, it’s more like - can you really think of anything skate related that you really want that you don’t have and that your girl would know/afford to buy? We’d all be chuffed to get a Hecox Chocolate deck series boxset but imagine if you got a Tony Hawk book instead? That’s what I end up with and she feels the same. Just wish we could skip the presents and spend the money on food, drink and holidays. It’s just pointless ‘stuff’.
