Ooof roasted for sure. However I was 14-15 and naive to the world ha ha. Learnt a lot since then, good times though, all a learning curve. Nice to be back and read post from some old heads.

A few things I want to discuss.
The recent debacle of that female skater in the spotlight for complaining about a transgender skater winning the comp.
If you listen to the woman who is campaigning her opinion her attitude is the most “unskater” reason/drive/motivation for actually participating in skateboarding ful stop.
She actually says she attended the competition as if it was a guarantee she would win and take home the prize money. She continues to argue that she has been unfairly treated as if she is a regular employee with a guaranteed salary.
She is of the post Olympics school of skateboarding and other right wing outlets have swarmed to this story like flies to dogshit as it’s more ammo for their anti trans agenda. I havnt heard any complaints about Leo Baker winning street league with testosterone and eastrogen suppression whilst competing in the female division. It always seems to be against male to female in the same way most men are fine with two lesbians kissing in public but God forbid two males kissing and they totally flip their lid. Double standards.
Also…at Kings Park in Bournemouth years back I was talking to a fellow forum poster and played a game of.guess our usernames and he instantly said “NEXTMAN” to which I denied and said I was FixationOn plastics. Eventually I said yes I’m NEXTMAN. He was flabagated and said “no way that was soooo controversial”.
That was the first time I realized people like BDF actually genuinely took it to heart and branded me an awful human being

The only person in the flesh to actually address me as NEXTMAN was Rab aka Raberdeen. Other people would pussy foot round me and snidely play social games and try make trouble.for me. Discuss:

This is the same narrative as almost every “non-productive” forum member on here.
People such as Smoke, Horner, Anon even build…if they are of some sort of high status within the scene people like you “Nazareth” literally can’t take their noses put of their arse.
Then members like me…who pain stakeingly came with legit content for people to enjoy get shit of bitter, good for nothing forum members who blates played tony hawk once and then act like their opinion matters.
Why don’t you get outside and do something productive?

People got wound up because you were wading into an established forum of people who by and large got on with each other for 20 years, all guns blazing, acted like a prick and got called out for being a prick. You didnt come on here with anything to contribute, you made a couple of drum and bass edits then made a thousand threads of scat porn and bullshit, kept telling everyone you were a nasty slut that wanted to get fucked, started unprovoked aggro then when everyone told you the same thing you started crying about nepotism when people told you to fuck off. Its not the same thing.

Duane Peters said he used to complain about being guarantee prize money until Tony Hawk turned up doing ‘modern tricks’ and how that wasn’t ‘real skateboarding’ back in the 80’s, just off the top of my head, so it’s not a new thing (the reasons, yes… complaining about skate comps, no). I bet we could think of loads of hissy fits over skate comps over the years.
