Cillian Murphy’s radio show is going to put me off him even more. He still won’t be as annoying as Guy Garvey but he definitely thinks (or his agent want people to think) he knows what he’s talking about there when he really doesn’t. Still, he’s probably pretty sound irl.
I agree with haven, this thread seems a bit weird to me these days.

On the whole idea of the Lovely Girls thread, I’m not offended by it, but won’t cry over its demise.
Like Ciaran, I’m not remotely offended either. On the old forum I just chose not to dip into the hot punk/emo goth chic thread but its presence I was totally indifferent to.
Perhaps as a compromise so as to not put people off, we could do what some forums do and hide certain threads unless a user has a certain post count. It’s a bit extreme, but it’s an idea.
I hardly ever go in the thread as I lurk mostly at work. However, I always want to go in the thread, so I’ve voted remain.
