Weirdly enough, I was at Skin’s last week and he managed to save an incredible amount of Transworld stuff during a publisher-change clear out. Original paste-up stuff, Blender drawings, test prints, all sorts of crazy stuff.

As well as still having the original slide or neg of everything he shot.

What did it used to be called?

Seems a bit shallow to show off a skate shop by only focusing on the board collection and none of the history of the shop or how it’s survived so long.

Slick Willie’s opened in 1970, and started selling skateboards in 1975. Surrey Skates was 1977 too.
