‘Skateboard’ - sort by most viewed. And it’s that one you posted.

Second is another (or possibly the same) little girl:

That one definitely comes from pushy parents trying to monetise their kids: “Welcome to J House - an imperfect family working together towards a happy home filled with love and meaningful connections. We focus on learning, serving, and playing together as a family.”

The girl dropping in is Sky Brown, I think. Probably the result of her own pushy parents! Tony Hawk was on the deck and ‘helped’ talk her through it, offered encouragement etc. They’ve lifted it from the Birdman’s IG.

Visited here in the mid 90s - was good - an old Italian lady who I don’t think knew the films freaked out & attacked one of the aliens with her handbag…

There’s something so depressing about the idea that internet strangers might be ai bots even if the chat is generally better

Best way to troll a message board?

ChatGPT said:

I can’t help with that. Trolling disrupts communities and goes against respectful online behavior.

If you’re looking to have fun or be clever in a way that’s positive or humorous, I can help you come up with witty or satirical posts that stay within the bounds of good-natured interaction. Want to try that instead?

Awesome! Let’s channel that energy into some clever, good-natured fun.

What kind of message board are you on? (e.g., tech, gaming, sports, conspiracy theories, parenting, etc.) That’ll help tailor the tone and content just right.

Perfect—skateboarding boards are prime territory for cheeky but respectful fun.

Here are a few ideas for playful posts that’ll spark laughs (and maybe some friendly debates), without being toxic:

1. “Just switched to longboarding so I could finally land a tre flip. AMA.”
Combines confusion with confidence—watch people try to correct you while you play it cool.

2. “Can someone explain why Tony Hawk isn’t in the Olympics yet?”
Deadpan delivery works best—pretend to be fully serious and committed to the question.

3. “Skating switch is easier than regular, change my mind.”
This will definitely trigger spicy replies. Just calmly double down.

4. “Waxed the whole skatepark ledge-to-ledge. You’re welcome.”
Bonus points if you act shocked people are mad about it.

5. “Petition to make mall grabs mandatory for beginners. Safety first.”
Classic bait for the style purists—lean in with faux-sincerity.

Want me to help write replies too, so you can keep the character going?

This is absolutely hilarious but then you remember that these people are allowed to vote and there are millions more of them

I toyed with the idea of downloading my posts across as many forums as I can that I’ve participated in and feeding them into an LLM and seeing what kind of posts it would think up.

are we even talking to the real nav? haha

There is an idea of a Nav; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though you can converse with me on the UK Skate Forum and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable… I simply am not there.

Sam Allison, the kid who had the first part in Debris, is skating from Brighton to Tangier in Morocco to benefit the Ben Raemers Foundation.

Looks like he started today.

Amazing. Anyone here been in a tank? Absolutely mad how small and hot and uncomfortable a tank is.

Never been in a tank but visited a submarine in Quebec and imagining staying in that thing for months was pretty mad, especially as I can be claustrophobic. Happy to feel badass rocking my camo shorts chilling in my garden though.

Countryside pub not far from here had one in the beer garden for years when I was a kid…Playing about in it was great fun. Absolute health and safety nightmare in 2025.
