We need to avoid “show a negative test” and have it done through an app. Otherwise everyone will just fake it

I have my NHS pass thing on my phone. Just have to log into my NHS account to update it occasionally. Got my booster on Saturday too.

My step son had his first jab in September but being the whopper he is didn’t get his second jab before going to the Falklands. Does this mean he will have to have his first one again once he is back in England late February?
Booster booked for Saturday on the third try, the first two had little to no effect on me so hopefully this is the same.

That’s what I said to the Mrs, not sure if she asked him. I can’t believe the army didn’t sort all their troops out with jabs across the board. What does the country do if the army is needed and they have battalions, either with Covid or having to self isolate? Both of which I know has happened several times already.
Omicron is now at 20% for all the case in the UK. Sajid Javid has just told Parliament that people will need two doses and a booster to be declare fully vaccinated for travel and domestic events. There will be a vote on 21st December to decide if we will go to Plan C. January is looking like a lockdown.

Yeah I reckon so.. I will be pissed right off if they start with that tier system bollocks again. We should all be treated to the same ruling not a north/south divide like last time… Pish

I’d say so, whats the point in reopening them to close them again? Though Boris does have previous for doing this but schools are massive spreaders of covid.
i don’t know how they have done it, I have seen some of what has happened with people isolating etc and still depolying overseas for exercises via squaddie banter pages etc.
I’d imagine each unit or brigade would host thier own large vaccination centres and just smash through loads of people in a oner.

They have to sort their own vaccines out. In the height of the last Lockdown when troops got Covid those that were tracked and traced had to go home to self isolate. That meant 100s of squadies travelling the length of the country to get back home with potential Covid and then moving back in with partners/parents etc.. our lad travelled by train from London to Lancaster at least four times. This was happening when we were only a loud out for exercise and couldn’t leave the county. All he had to do was show military ID and no questions were asked by police at train stations.
