He never had symptoms but we can’t put him back into school without the negative tests. Until Saturday when he’s allowed out anyway I think

Pretty much no one here agrees with Sotonjon on vaccines but that’s fine. We’re all big enough and ugly enough to cope with someone who has a different point of view.
Things could get bad if we get into a Joe Rogan situation. Apparently James Blunt has threatened to release new music onto Spotify if Rogan isn’t banned.

I’m just pleased that the vaccine mandates are being reversed for healthcare workers. Hopefully this will also apply to unvaccinated care home workers (who need to be reinstated and apologised to), university students and anyone experiencing vaccine mandates as a condition of employment.
It’s so sad that you see this as a little win. Oooh we beat the government, they need to apologise. How do you feel about the other vaccines that NHS workers have to have in order to do their job? Polio, MMR, Hepatitis etc. It’s quite a long list.
I suppose those vaccine mandates are fine because their testing wasn’t rushed right? Or is it just that there’s no conspiracies around those ones. Perhaps they should just rename the covid vaccine as MMR2 and see if the armchair scientists notice

Why is it sad? I’m fine with people having the vaccine and fine with people refusing it. There is an issue when you are coerced in to taking a medical product.
How were they coerced? Their job requires them to have common vaccinations before they can work. If there’s a new common vaccination it’s completely reasonable that they should have to get that too. If any of the vaccines they already have to get require an update or top up then they’d get that too

Well looks like a potential wave of measles will be on the horizon because of covid misinformation and scaremongering.
I’m sure there’s an effect but it doesn’t say that it’s because misinformation etc.
