Malta and the UK are best friends. Malta did not want UK to leave the EU.

Joe Sacco is Maltese though and drew/wrote a really interesting comic about the political situation re the migrant issue there.
Malta is sick. for a rock in the middle of the ocean it’s surprisingly nice and has a crazy history in the last century. tons of street spots

I hate December and Christmas and am relieved that I might not have to go through as much bullshit as the other years with my girlfriend and her family being super into it.
My grandma got tested positive about 2 weeks ago. She’s 87 and I freaked out when I learnt about that. Luckily she didn’t develop any symptoms and is fine now. Fuck yeah.

If you want to jump off the cliff of pointless Hitler references then great. A musician trying to protest the death of live music is vastly different to a musician protesting lockdown. I know you’re just being fasicious but I’d hesitate to throw shade at Clapton until I knew what dumb shit he was up to
It’s Van Morrison’s own campaign. If you think a single penny of that fund, whatever it is, will go to anything you or I give a flying fuck about, you’re going to be wrong. Unless you’re into seeing Fleetwood Mac at the Albert Hall or something.
This bullshit is just going to stop money being spread around the artists and venues who actually need it. I feel like I’ve got a vague grasp of that industry and I’ll be stunned if anything to do with these two pricks ever even remotely suggests any kind of help for people making new, interesting and relevant music.
Old boys’ network. All these horrible old farts keeping the money in their own economy. If that’s your thing, then this is good news, but if you care about emerging music and the venues that host it, then Eric Clapton and Van fucking Morrison’s Covid-denying bullshit pub-blues isn’t going to help.
