I reckon if I had a twin tail I’d probably just nominate one end of it as the “true tail” and just skate it that way. Hate a backwards board. I’d know by the grip if it was the wrong way round.

My issue is that sometimes I deliberately use the nose as a tail or vice versa. The extra steepness is useful
Are the twin tails truly “normal” tails on both ends or is it some happy medium between tail and nose?
I can feel a board review coming on…
I tried a few twin tails and missed the length of the nose which make switch ollies and switch flips feel so nice. I’ve got a twin nose now and miss the short snap of the tail which make regular ollies easier to pop higher. Can’t win

I’ve realised it’s just a futile quest for different equipment to compensate for my appalling skating ability. But I’m still enjoying the search!
Look at this madness
Now skating a deck with a short 14" wheelbase and feel like am skating better. Managed a first switch ollie. Hesitant to go too far into gear madness but maybe it just suits me as I’m short and have short legs.
Brain drain show were going on about this and it’s so true, we need more decks with shorter wheelbases
I’m 5ft 6 on a good day, love flip tricks and need shorter wheelbases

14". Is that not considered a shorter wheelbase? A lot of the bareback/generator boards I look at are 14.2" or above
Yeah I suppose it is.
I’m a big guy and like 14.12 but that’s hard to get. Can skate 14.25 but wouldn’t get anything longer. I have no idea how people can do flip tricks decently on boards with a 14.38 or 14.5 wheelbase. I mean I probably can too but it just feels so wrong.

Can’t remember what it was but I had a 14.25" and everything was weird as fuck. If they were easily available I’d like to fuck around with smaller wheelbases. I wonder if my shortness would prefer a 13.75" or some midget shit like that
