That’s the one. Name rings a bell and seems legit
Released a full vid Corinium a year or so back, dude that filmed it is on here
Gaz at Decimal is a legend. Your money has gone to a good place. Same goes for any SOS!
I went to visit Decimal a few weeks ago with the intention of spending some money and they were closed on a Monday.
After probably being open all weekend…
Haha exactly same here @nav I was in Cirencester for a long weekend and went there it was closed
Great story, maybe I’ll tell it again
Decimal - doing a terrible job of serving ex pats since whenever.
i live in East Anglia and loads of stores that are open Saturday and Sunday are closed on Monday. it’s annoying but fair enough really
Is that shit fake?
I first understood as this skate shops and was going to ask which / where would you use.
Hardcore Hobbies (Bury St Ed) went, Smash (Beccles) went and now Drug Store is closing. I’m not sure I know of many other SOS’s in EA.
Not that I’m wearing my existing stuff out enough to worry.
@BAGHEADCREW on a Watchdog tip.
I’ve just been notified about this haha.
These wheels were shocking
That weed orientated “skate” shop were selling fake Bones reds for ages.
I like to think they got mugged off rather than them trying to scam people.
On the back of dodgy wheels, what are peoples current recommendations for legit wheels for UK streets and the odd skatepark?
Bought a set of Spitfires a few years back but don’t get on with them, they were those 80HD 54mm chargers, but my do they feel soft, too soft really. Was thinking 99A Formula Fours, last set of wheels I had before the current were 95a a good long while ago and would flatspot very easily
i skate of car parks with the 101d formula fours. you can cruise with them too as long as you don’t care about life quality or anything like that. jokes aside, you can roll down a pavement on them but it’s gonna be pleasant
people i skate with seem to swear by those dragon wheels but i just can’t bring myself to skate that crap
If you want to try a UK brand, check out Sabbath Wheels. I’m skating a set currently and they’re legit. Stand up to any Spitfire F4’s i’ve had over the years and a lot cheaper too!
I’ve been going down in durometer. F4 99a, then F4 97a, then Dragon 93a. I tried the Dragons out because I was sliding out on a recently resurfaced indoor wooden bowl and I found they gave me a little more grip. I also like being able to ride on slightly rough streets without all my teeth rattling out of my jaws, but without the spongy feeling of cruiser wheels.
