I think Krooked make that shape too.

Pretty sure they make these for every season. I hear it’s all Ishod actually skates.

Makes complete sense but there’s something about knowing which way round the board is

Do you skate em? Was thinking of trying some out… Would say if they need feedback the sizing is confusing though… there’s 135 and 145 trucks, 145 being the 5.5" axle, but a Thunder 145 is their small truck… so I see 145 and assume its small based on Thunder sizing…

Looking at them on stores it says “145 Skateboard Trucks 5.5’’ and then I have to check what size the actual axle is… 8.25, I guess you only have to do this once… but trying to get people to swap brand I just wanna know straight up whats best for a 8.25” board… I’ve always skated 149s with 8.1-8.3 boards so a truck that actually fits might be nice!

I’ve always found truck sizing hard to get your head around. Hope this helps

I used to run a shop so I’m good with sizings, just thinking from a consumer point of view… I’d say more than half the people that would buy trucks didn’t even know that there are different sizes! And then when you do actually look at sizes this 139, 5.25, 147 business is just frustrating… it should just be the axle width in inches, same as boards…

Just read this online: We’ve measured the FILM 5.5 up, and we get a real-world hanger measurement of 144mm, an axle of 8.25″, and a height to the center of the axle of about 51mm with the stock bushings, with a weight (including all supplied nuts and washers) of 360g per truck – making these trucks fractionally lighter than Independent’s standard 144.

Sounds good to me!

I had that OG Vision double back in 1992 I think. Made sure I couldn’t tell which way was which and in the end i got used to it and could skate whichever way and not be able to tell. Then I got a birdshit mark on the grip at one end and was furious

I stick to Indy as they’re higher and I’m a big guy. I skate the high ones with risers!

I had one of those too. The only thing that annoyed me was that it made shove-it tricks kind of pointless, but I understand that is my problem.

So is there no difference in truck tension between front and back for those who like their 2 way popsicles?
I tended to have a more loose front truck than back.

Yeah kept everything identical

New deal Siamese which you probably know now as you retracted

Yup.
It can’t have been the board I was thinking of either because it wasn’t symmetrical.
There was a Santa Cruz double kick, of that I’m sure.

This is the closest one I could find. It was a blue painted dip with round Vision logo on (not the rounded lens one). Weird I can’t find any trace of it anywhere

I think I might have had the same one @Mark

Yes! That’s exactly it! But blue dip!!! Nice one chas!

Remember seeing those.
Blast from the past.

Mine was grey woodstain with a blue circle around the logo. I remember being really excited to try it out and then being underwhelmed by it. I think the concave was super steep too. I didn’t get on with it.

So do I! But I regularly get rinsed for having risers so have beens sans riser for about a year, tricks are slightly less effort, but don’t pop as well for me… Or I’m old.
