I got the Dragons, I think after @Mark first got them and seemed to rate them. Was always Spitfire F4 before that. Dragons are working well, feel weirdly plasticky to me but not enough to bother changing back yet. I’d love to go back and get some Cockroaches or Slimeballs just for nostalgia after spending years dreaming of ‘proper’ wheels in late 80’s RAD editions.

A quick update on Dragons. I replaced my 93a with 95a. On the street, almost identical. But in a smooth, dusty indoor bowl I found the 95s slipping a little. I put the 93s back on and the slipping stopped completely.

I had some minty fresh very pale blue Heroin wheels, would fuck with that colour again if they made them. Otherwise has to be white

Left that setup on a bus like a TWAT

Cheap stock available, unfortunately

What a shitter, recently bought a board from them and had a nice hand written note.

Also Pretend Supply Co seem to be offline for the last week or two, not sure if they’ve gone or if it is just temporary.

New deck and trucks for 2026.

Gone down to an 8 because I’m determined to flip my board this year. And back to Thunder trucks after 12 months of trying and failing with Ace’s (shout out Ten and Fower for the hookup).

This is why bad things happen to good people.

Is no one going to comment on this horrific truck overhang due to incorrect riser sizing situation?

I went through a phase of having 2 bolts diagonal in the early 00’s :joy:

Any other criticisms the forum wants to throw my way?

Also, you think that isn’t bugging me too - i just can’t be arsed enough to take the trucks off again

The wheels are a bit big to be honest

Could have bought new ones for a full Christmas FFS @BvS

Just kidding!

Cafe are rad.

I think there will always be overhang if you go from ace to thunder. I had some indy risers I tried to use with thunders and they looked ridiculous

When I got my current set of Slappy trucks, I got their thinnest risers and it’s definitely a quality of life upgrade to have the perfect match between truck and riser.

Also they were measured in mm, which was interesting.

Those massive wheels are not going to help.

Also, new board, new trucks and old wheels?
