True, I need to do more frontside noseslides.

They kinda are but then again they’re perfectly broken in so I wouldn’t change them for anything in the world.

Kinda have to when you are a big guy like me.

Those weren’t available when I needed new trucks. Post Covid mess. I have two setups of hollow ones and those. I can’t really tell the difference to be honest. I have these standard ones on a popsicle and can do 360 flips on that setup so they work in my book.

Can you BS 5050?

Er… yes.

I don’t understand your question.

Edit, sorry I’m going mad, long day

Tongue in cheek, was just reading the wheel/truck wear.

Where do we even start with this one?

I actually appreciate the matching wheels and bushings colour, but other than that I can’t condone this

Haha, yeah. This is pretty bizarre because I feel like I do more backside 5050s than frontside ones.

Almost on par with Tas Pappas set up @nav posted in the photos read

Carbon Fibre deck, rails and green wheels.

On paper, this should be banned. Take the rails off and I’d skate it though, kinda like the black and green together and most graphics are shit on decks so that works for me being 98% blank

I feel like the two of them could happily trade boards and talk about world affairs.

Those Kape decks just look so plastic that my mind would be convinced it would be spongey and flexy, even if in reality it was more rigid than your average reform voter’s world view.

True! I think for me if the sound was remotely off I would bin it. I get funny with dipped decks so something the is closer to a Max Power body kit than a skateboard probably isn’t a good choice!

Can’t think about black and green and not think about Creature and I sure don’t want to think about Creature.

I’m curious about the bigger boards I’ve been seeing lately.
I’ve been on 8.25 since I don’t know when, but I’m seeing egg boards around - some of them massive. I also read an instagram post by Tony Hawk saying how he’s just switched from 8.25 to 8.75 after seeing his son flipping wide boards, giving them a go and finding he liked them. Mind you, he does have size 13 feet. And he still uses 149s with the wider decks.
And then the board I ride used to come in only one size - 8.25 - but they’ve just announced a new 8.5" Is it just me, or are people going wider?

8.1 was the biggest I could go. Had an 8.5 thinking I was some cool hesh dude and I very quickly threw it in the fire along with the flannel shirt I got to complete the outfit lol

I set up an old 8.75 from my cupboard today and took it out into the street. Felt like a boat, even with turny Slappy 8.5 trucks on. Just too big for me. I might try an 8.5 though.

Haha, I’ve gone down to an 8.5 with 54mm wheels for the past four months. Mainly because it was a board I got as part of a deck swap with Pigpen. Really tried with it, but I’ve had so many near-misses mis-judging getting onto ledges and rails that I’m having to go back to bigger stuff again. That said, did my annual kickflip on it in January, so glad that’s out of the way!
