8.125” on a 14” wb. All good in da hood. Likkle twinkle toes feet though. 7-ply is fine, no gimmicks - by the time they’re knackered I’m itching for a new one anyhow.
I’ll let you in on a secret - current Crailtap wood is fucking great.

Set this up last week. Wheels look massive but they aren’t really. Chocolate 8.125, 139 Indy Ti, Spitfire F4 54 99, Bones Swiss 6.
First new set of bearings I’ve had since before my son was born in 2013. La schmoove ![]()
And you didn’t get new trucks?
Nah, I’ve never ground a pair of trucks to the axle and will keep these until I do - or they break first. I’m getting on a bit now so this is really my last chance.
Start a fresh slappy curb and just hammer it til they go through ![]()
I just went through my garage, dug out all the gear I don’t use and listed it on eBay. I had a set of titanium Indy’s, some Slappy trucks, some Spitfire wheels.
I need one board that’s set up exactly how I like, that I ride all the time, with components I update from time to time.
Anything else is collecting.
Link to your eBay stuff?
I also just seriously annoyed a buyer.
I listed everything for 7 day auction and about 5 minutes later I got a message saying the Slappy trucks had sold. It turns out there was an automatic buy it now price suggestion on those and 2 other items that I never set.
So I cancelled the sale and revised everything, and apologised to the buyer but he’s angry and says he’ll report me for a ‘fake auction.’
58mm conical wheels. 99a. In BLACK?!
GLWS
A mosher with big kecks and a crop top will be all over them bad boys.
There’s a much simpler solution to having too much skate stuff… put it in your bag and give it to kids that need it.
That’s good to do. I did that with a set of 54mm Dragon wheels a few weeks ago when I bought some new ones. A lot of what I’m selling now is a bit niche/ for older skaters - the big, black wheels, the GK trucks, the 169s
Got a wider cruiser. 8.375. Took it for a test drive. Long wheelbase but 360 flips seem to work. We’ll see how functional it is for semi-real tricks.
New board. Being using the current one since June of last year. Always nice looking at the stickers and remembering some spots and trips i’ve been on. Thought the new Deadly Dave was another 10 incher turns out its 10.25! Feels bloody massive under my size 11s. New set of Sabbath 56mm swirls that i thought i’d lost but found them in my junk drawer when having a sort out. Same ace trucks 77s, the back truck may need replacing soon and then all the usual guff that lasts forever. Hopefully get to break it in at the weekend.
Fucking man sized that one @Joxa!
Old man!
Picked up this rad Lance Grimple deck a few months back. I’ve always wanted to skate the OG because it has such a nice shape, and this is the closest I’m going to get. Sadly it’s not been that easy to get on with so far, but it’s part of the cursed new trucks/wheels set-up, so will give it another few weeks and see how it goes.
For those of us who film sessions, the new GoPro looks really interesting: a much bigger sensor means sharper footage and far better low-light performance
Any one got any experience with Tensor magnesiums? Im trying to put a light board together and they seem to by the lightest trucks on the market.
Seem to remember going through a phase of doing the same and there were some ridiculously cheap deals on Tensor mags.
Ended up going Thunder Light route (they didn’t feel noticeably lighter but I’ve heard the tensor mags do)
