He’s in the new Kevin Smith film (how many Kevin Smith films is that? Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Clerks 2, Jersey Girl, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Stoke back and A Better Place?). Looks like he’s playing Brodie and Banky again. There’s a mini sequel to Chasing Amy in it, which could be rad, see if Banky is fully out and Brody is probably his best Kevin Smith character.

The Chipmunks films and straight to DVDs they did too have made him more money than the Jackass boys & Spike Jones put together, when it comes to skaters in Hollywood by a long way.

Money or integrity… hmmm. 5BuL

Read an interview with Jay L a couple of years ago that said he wasn’t really doing acting anymore, it had sort of petered out and he’d stopped wanting to chase Hollywood roles, he was happy just doing his photography.

Money, you only live once and theres nothing wrong with being in those movies anyway.

New lady hasn’t seen Star Wars so we been watching Star Wars. Original 3 all good but fuck me phantom menace is diabolical. Really shit. I remember trying to justify it at the time, nope.
Attack of the clones is better than I remember mind.

No need for the prequels now there’s Rogue One.

IMO, ETC.

Haha, trying to fan them up in time for Rise of Skywalker for Christmas (shame they’ll have too see The Last Jedi) and then nights on the sofa watching The Mandalorian tv series (and Obi Wan series coming too).

I like your style.

P.S A girl told me she love me once and I used the Han Solo line ā€˜I know’ ,not to be cool, it was because I didn’t back, it was a great get out.

A People Just Do Nothing film??!

Setting it in Japan might be a mistake…

Hopefully they go to the Palace shop. Has a film of a great TV show ever been really good? Partridge obviously wasn’t, Inbetweeners was quite good (I think), Simpsons was pretty bad… What else is there? Movies of TV shows always seem to be trying to appeal to the friends of the people who watched the programme, like totally dumbed down.

Very rare.

See also US remakes…did you see they’re doing a new gender-swapped US Peep Show? It can only be bad. There was a US Peep Show pilot without the gender-swap in 2005 and it’s the worst thing ever.

Exactly my thinking. Sat down to watch it last night and saw the run time…

It’s a real 70s thing isn’t it, on the buses movie, George and Mildred movie etc.

It’s like I have to mentally prepare myself for the Irishman, Sunday night job I reckon.

As for Irishman, I get this weird feeling that Scorsese has exhausted his possibilities with Italian gangster film plots and will simply rehash some of them now with Irish accents and lingo instead.

Hmm. It was pretty good I thought.

Not great but not bad like the last BBC series. I never even finished watching the last few episodes of that.

The American version of The Office is highly rated though.

It’s infinitely better than the UK one, which was obviously good anyway. The first season is them trying to be like the UK one, so you can ignore that, but every moment up until the end of season seven, when Michael leaves, is truly brilliant.
