It’s a great example of taking a cool idea and really running with it. I watched another episode or 2 last night, man its sooo freaky. Obvious hints of Kubrick in there but a really original type of horror.
Who’d have thought a dark room with 3 giant chairs in it could instill such dread
I think even if I was trapped in liminal hell I’d still stop and go, ooh a Juno 106 (last episode)

Watched The Matrix in the cinema last night. Haven’t seen it in a couple of years and can confirm that film is still really fucking cool.
It was the original 35mm print that they showed, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before and it looked completely different to the later releases. It’s mad how green it got over time.

Such a great cinema and film.
Watched Crime 101 last week on Prime, a good cast and decent watch. Didn’t absolutely love it but a good use of a couple of hours and made me wish I was goin’ goin’, back back to Cali Cali, soon.
My favourite there was Texas Chainsaw massacre on a scratchy old 35mm print on Halloween. Mate brought a fat neat spliff of high anxiety grade, front row seats. He’d never seen it before, the look in his face after the first really bad bit was worth the ticket price alone.

Very much enjoyed this. It played like the precursor to a yet to be made zombie film. Not quite horror, but definitely triggering if, like me, you were a teenage boy with terrible eczema
