Really looking forward to seeing this. Safdie Brothers are proper dons. Good Time was amazing - on Netflix if anyone hasn’t seen it.

i heard they have a deal with netflix or it was co-produced or something and it’ll be on Netflix at the end
of this month.

Yep when I saw it at the cinema Netflix logo came up at the start. I’d recommend going to see it at the cinema if poss, seeing it on the big screen with no distractions was an absolute treat. Soundtrack is incredible also

Yep. Jan 31st.

Sort of yes, they all take place directly after one another and the first one is quite important plot wise, as it explains the entire motivation of what’s about to happen. Even if the first film is the least good (I actually think they’re one of those very rare films that actually get better with each sequel), it’s probably the most important.

Sure you can find it somewhere else on the internet…

Bad Boys For Life was brilliant, all the cheesiness you’d expect but also some pretty good action and just a whole lot of brain left at the door fun.

Bit late to the party on this one but I watched Oceans 12 last night. Dire.

what’s the last genuinely funny film that has been released?

Pineapple Express

do they still make weed movies?

I quite liked Book Smart and Good Boys, contrary to what LS said earlier.

Book Smart really was quite good.
I watched Long Shot on Netflix the other day and thought that was the best comedy I’d seen in quite a while.

For some reason, the line that killed me in that film was where Dale is sick on the printer, and Saul goes ‘you were sick on my printer… did you break it?’

Dunno why but I just found the delivery hilarious

Shaun the Sheep - Farmageddon

Finally got around to watching Selma. MLK film…really good. Also watched The Good Liar. Solid thriller…

I saw 1917 the other day, very, very good but still not as good as Parasite.

Was going to go check out 1917 today but ended up too busy.
I watched Apollo 11 last night…It’s a documentary on the Apollo 11 moon landing (Obvs…). All made from rescanned film as well as newly discovered film canisters. It’s really good looking.
No V/O, either - soundtrack is entirely made from recordings and transmissions as things happened as well as the score being made using electronic instruments available in 1969.

Well worth 90 mins of your time…

1917 was alright. English-accents-for-a-US-audience always grate a bit though.

Got this for later, should be good…
