We had our honeymoon in Cuba and the cheap stuff we got at the hotel was amazing. Cant remember what it was called for the life of me but we got 3 bottles for about 10 quid at the airport. The good stuff out there was pretty cheap as well.

Got a new TV last week and it’s had nothing but Hey Duggee and the fucking tennis on it so far, but that looks amazing so I’m hyped to see something that was actually made to look good.

Also been to loads of tastings at wine farms etc and there is absolutely difference between 10 quid wines and 20 quid wines I find. That’s why I always look for the half price stuff! The most expensive wines I’ve ever had have been on the house (work things/tasting menu comps) and I’ve noticed it massively. It’s the fact that it doesn’t make you gurn and taste like battery acid mixed with vinegar that gives it away.

Can’t speak for white wine though, that all tastes like shit to me.

Has anyone seen The Clock?

It’s amazing, this dude cut together shots of clocks and watches from films, 24 hours worth, and it plays synchronised to the actual time. Sounds horrifically boring but sat at South bank nft I think it was for about 40 mins watching it, it’s really hypnotising

Yeah it was on at Tate Modern last year, sat in there for about 4 hours mesmerised.

Only left to go for a piss and was one in one out so was no chance of getting back in which was annoying. They did a 24hr screening a few times which would’ve been crazy.

Obvious one but Apocalypse Now

Odd that this fits in with exactly what I said about 1917, clocks playing in real time, always thought that would be a cool idea!
If I ever directed a film I’d make everything interactive, so any phone number shown on the film being active, any email, any website. Would be so dope to see a characters phone number and then be able to call them and nerd out hearing a message…

The original Space Jam website is still up as it was at the time.

So of course The Lighthouse was great. Could have been longer but it’s in 4:3 which really suits it.

Quite a crew too.

Anyone seen David Copperfield yet? I went with my lady last Friday and it was a bit disappointing. Armando Ianuncci’s other films have been much better. Good cast though. Hugh Laurie was wicked in it.

Don’t say that, I was planning to go with Missus tomorrow and have wagamama after. Although, little one is poorly at the mo so might not happen.

I still can’t believe he used to bang Claudia Schiffer…

(gets coat)

It’s worth a watch, I was just expecting it to be funnier.

Incredibly poor choice. So shit.

Wow, snob.
Tasty food is tasty food, I find it tasty. The Chilli Squid is amazing. I don’t doubt i’d get more authentic cuisine elsewhere but I can’t help liking what they offer.

haha.

Last time I went I had the worst meal but maybe I ordered wrong.

I’d rather go to nandos for the same price.

I like Nando’s too. I have never had a bad meal in Waga’s but I have ordered wrong a couple of times. I’m not into the curry or the Ramen but all the drier noodle dishes I have had have been ace. Starters are all amazing, Squid, Duck Gyoza especially.

Gyoza is banging yeah.

Uncut Gems.

Fucking hell man I felt like I was having a heart attack. In a good way.
