Just wanna watch it! Seriously though, I think it’s really important that fans take more of an interest in the way English football is going and demand more from the clubs/PL but stadium invasions aren’t the way
Spurs vs Shef game soon ![]()
Who was it again on here who replied to me saying all this ESL business would be forgotten about? I said something about the clubs reputations being tarnished.. Told ya!
This is going to go on for years with the fans - and no one is allowed in the grounds yet! Just wait for next season!
Only way I can see this ending is if all the owners of the ESL clubs are replaced so everyone can move on.
Which one is it, reputations or legacies? Two different things to me. Reputations of current owners have no bearing on a clubs legacies. Owners are just brief custodians that come and go, some good, some bad and not the club and it’s history.
@TerryTibbs probably me
@voodoo yeha I think that’s part of the issue. Fans seem to think that removal of current owners will make everything rosy and golden again
Pedantic. Both are one and the same. The owners and their decisions for the clubs are intertwined. This will go down in history. Hence the outrage and protests from the fans at Chelsea and now today at United.
So you’re saying the memories and achievements of people like Sir Matt Busby and the Busby Babes for instance should be thrown out with the bath water because of the owners in 2021? Okay!
I’ve just seen a video shared on Whatsapp of fans fully breaking into the other parts of the stadium now, I think it’s all gone a bit too far!
It’s all getting a bit Capitol Hill, huh? I think people forget the reason F.C. United of Manchester was started and that fans have been protesting the Glazers for years and seem to think this is something new.
Forever tarnished. Their fans won’t forgive or forget and the fans of the other clubs won’t ever let them.
The Glazers legacy? Oh, it sounded like you meant the clubs history as a whole and forever… yeah that wasn’t to clear in your points. I mean City and Chelsea are still in the CL and City are set to win the PL, United and Arsenal are still in the EL, so it doesn’t look like anything is going to happen to them from the top in football itself, so I guess fans aren’t left with much choice?
You think when fans get back in they will give a fuck about the ESL. Be so limited numbers.
100% know it’s not something new, Glazers plowed your club into debt.
No, Man U’s legacy has been tarnished. Along with the other ESL clubs. Fuck them all.
Tarnished? All those clubs were full of P. Supporters think they are a piece of shit but they won’t stop selling shirts, tickets etc.
What I find insane is that almost everyone agrees it was bad that the Glazers were allowed to buy Man United with borrowed money, and then instantly put all of the debt on the club.
The exact same thing has recently happened with Burnley, and no one seemed to bat an eyelid.
But it was still the same out come for both clubs, right? More people talking about it hasn’t changed that or made anything better for United, right? Olly Todd left Landscape, I can’t believe it didn’t get the same coverage as Koston leaving Girl!
Haha, I’ve got a feeling you hate United no matter what. So there is no point. People moaning on about the ESL like their team is in the CL every season, haha… because it wouldn’t of effected the PL.
Haha nah I don’t give a shit about Man U
