Got a call from Ron to go skating at half time, glad I went now. Another fucking draw.

*edit: D’oh just realised there is only one game left and United are second no matter what now, so fuck it and the last game of the season, just send on the youth team for that, so everyone is fit for the Europa final (joke).

Saint Maximan different gravy.

EDIT: fuck yes Joe Willock again.

Hope Kane doesn’t go to City. Would make it so much harder to compete with them. Much more fun it he went to United or Chelsea.

I hope he goes City just to watch FSU in Europe for the next 4/5 seasons. Aguero scores, Kane does that and has made assists. His passing in generally is fucking mental as well. That would fit a Pep system better than a Haaland.

City makes most sense for Kane with Aguero leaving but who can tell what will happen. I’m sure United would happily pay a heavy sum.

Why go United? You aren’t guaranteed shit and they gave Cavani another year. 3 trophies since Fergie left. Since 2013.

Toon looked good 1-0.

They can guarantee playing in the CL next season, ha! He would be an expensive short term solution for United to compete with City. I think United would think long term and invest that kind of money in younger players for the future but no-one is going to be disappointed if their club gets him either.

But you bought Van de Beek and haven’t played him.

I haven’t watched much Man United this season, is he shit?

Just hasn’t been given the chances. He is competing with Bruno Fernandes and Pogba who have been inform this season.

I’m absolutely gutted!

What on earth?! Spurs bound perhaps?

I don’t think so, or at least am hoping not. His family are still in Portugal and he’s been very vocal about how tough that has made the last 14 months with the pandemic.

Vacant spot at Porto and reunited with his family. I couldn’t argue it. But I am devastated. What he has brought on the pitch has been unimaginable at times and off the pitch has been top class.

Kind of hit the ceiling this season I felt. Jiminez injury was no help.

and the loss of Jota.

He’s done a great job at Wolves to be fair. Tough season for them will selling Jota and Doherty and then losing Jiminez. I gasped out loud when I saw the news.

A lot more to it really. A summer that focused too far on the future and forgot the present didn’t help. Chuck in a major injury to Jimenez, then long term injuries to Jonny, Marcal, Podence, Boly, Neto and numerous COVID tests it doesn’t help. Also starting the previous season in the July before, ending in the August the next year and having a 3 day pre season. No excuses, but certainly reasons.

He’s looked a broken man for a long time now, he’s an emotional and passionate bloke with family and relationships a major factor in his life. I have no doubt this is part of the whole decision. Either way I’m gutted, truly adore the bloke. Made me dream and his whole philosophy on things is very much what I’m about too. Sad day.

It’s a shame if that’s true as with the Portuguese contingent there you’d have thought it could be a home from home! Only so much that might help during all this though.

Nothing quite like your family though is there.
