Did he have any years left on his contract?

Signed a new one last summer. 3 year IIRC.

End of an era, start of a new one. You’re now a middle table prem club for life lol.

All reports saying Spurs aren’t interested. Praying that’s true.

(Enjoy your time back in Middle Earth)

Isn’t the Porto job free?

Yep… all adds up to me.

Can’t see him going to Spurs. If he hadn’t seen his family in over a year just had his son at Uni in Manchester.

What a job though. I’d be gutted as a Wolves fan. Sorry @Brewer - you’ll be getting another Portuguese manager, hope it works out. I haven’t watched you guys as much this season as last, but always enjoyed the football.

Time will tell. Will break my heart even more if he does. Today has been a reminder that I care far too much about football. This one hurt.

It might sound mad, but he didn’t just lift the club. He lifted the city. He ā€œgot itā€ and wanted to be ā€œone of usā€. I’ve generally been relieved to see us lose a manager. But this time its the polar opposite. Fans across Twitter saying the same too. I did genuinely think he would be the man to turn the tide next season. Ah well, onwards and upwards *crys into wolves mug

My old mans 74, was there in the glory years. Claims he’s still seen nothing like this last 4 seasons in terms of unity and bond with the players, manager, club and fans. Madness.

Few reports from reputable sources (Fabrizio Romano etc) claiming he ain’t going to Spurs which softens the blow!

Daniel Levy is probably a little bit cautious after the last time he hired a Portugese manager represented by Mendes, and it didn’t work out so well.

Last day of the season fun. City out of the traps fast. Leicester leading. So Liverpool will need to win at the moment too (edit: winning now). United goal as well.

Decided to watch Everton as it’s the final game of the season. Fuck it. Why not eh?

2-0 after 14 minutes and just missed a penalty :joy:

I know, right, United drawing again at the moment (not that it matters). * Sigh *

It’s not like United to be given soft pens in their favour, haha.

I’m outraged by that Vardy penalty, if that isn’t a dive I don’t know what is.

Jack Grealish boiling piss, love it!

but gutted for Leicester, choked at the last hurdle :frowning:

Yeah that game went south fast for them, huh? They’re still in the same place in the table that they would of been anyway with goal difference, even if they had won with their two goals (pens).

yeah sucks for them but football like life isn’t fair :joy:
