A lot of those have just forced their way in with good form which is good to see, very glad to see Trippier in there but feel a bit for Bamford as heās outscored both Watkins and Calvert-Lewin now. I expect to see Ben White to make a big move in the summer.

If we can get a team with at least Foden, Mount, Grealish, Rice, pos Sterling & Kane in the starting 11 we should fuck shit up.
Thatās a strong squad. Hard not to feel sorry for Ings and Bamford, but Southgate canāt take everyone.

You could justify taking 3 if you treat Walker as more of a centre back. The 26 man final squad means you get a bit more leeway and Walkerās versatility will help.
Iām a bit gutted for Joe Willock. Scored a lot more than most in that squad and in amazing form.
Iād think whoever doesnāt make it will feel better knowing theyāre are still in Southgateās mind for the future maybe, and will make them work harder, than just being left at home completely and feeling forgotten about.

Good call, arguing over squad places feels a bit pointless when we can field these two. Iām so glad Southgate saw reason with the latter as well, it was getting embarrassing.
