Jurwell pretty much nailed it there.

I honestly donā€™t know. I think the appointment of Ancelotti and signings of Allan, Doucoure and James Rodriguez during that summer really left us supporters feeling pretty positive. We had a great start to that season and things were looking up. Then once Ancelotti left, the sense of ambition felt like it had gone and the ship had been sinking ever since.

If we go down, weā€™ll lose Richarlison, DCL, Pickford and others. Then I canā€™t see us coming back up from for quite a while.

Re: Burnley v Wolves

I had no doubt we would lose. There are ā€œbogey teamsā€ and then thereā€™s Burnley. We can never get anything from them especially at TM itā€™s mental.

A panenka! This game is mental. City have still got a few more in them.

They couldā€™ve scored 7 or 8. Imagine scoring 4 against RM and being gutted.

Great game, loved Viniciusā€™ turn and sprint for his goal. The next leg should be a blast.

My boss went to the game last night with his son. Said the atmos was well weird. Loads of Madrid fans (some wearing home shirts and with ā€œgive me your shirtā€ signs) sat in the City end. Loads of tourists filming the game on their iPads. Got a bit spicy.

What a fucking game. Benz pen was pure filth.

Also, HUGE win for Everton! I didnā€™t see that one coming.

Been a tough season but thatā€™s a huge win. Leeds, we are coming for you!

Everton fans, are you going to stay up? Who else will join Watford and Norwich?
