What was it like having some excitement as an Everton fan for the first time in 20+ years?

I’m so happy we fucked top 4 for Arsenal.

First time I’ve properly celebrated since the 1995 FA Cup final and I was 8 then.

I did find it funny cheering last night and knew most people would be hating on us for doing that but yeah……we haven’t had a W for a while :joy:

I’d be stoked if we stayed up how you did.

I was doing my celebrating last week  Eddie Howe 100% manager of the season.

City are two down, Liverpool drawing! Not how I saw the last day going!

If we hold on to beat City and Liverpool don’t win I may die laughing

Missing Martinez I’m shocked we haven’t been 5 down. He’s an amazing keeper. Our backup is ropey

Phew, only one point in it, in the end…

11th. When Eddie joined we had 5 points. What the actual fuck.

Fuming we let City back in. 0-2 up we should close the game out.

6 minute turnaround by City was bonkers. Can’t front on that, especially as at that point, LFC were still drawing with Wolves, so the title was still going to City. Pretty crazy to see them miss out on a 3rd title while still scoring over 90 points - but when your team is needing other results to go in their favour to guarantee a position, then they’re not in the driving seat. Hoping Alcantara is fit for the CL final though.
