Scotland weren’t a very competent defensive team. The midfield just let people run past them.

Yeah that wasn’t a defensive display at all. McCoist was going mental about the holes they kept leaving between midfield and defense.
We don’t know anything more about this German team at the tournament beyond “they can smash teams who aren’t on their game”.
