What the fuck sort of formation are England playing with Foden, Palmer, Saka, Bellingham and Gordon all on the pitch at the same time? There’s a lot of cross-pollination of favoured positions amongst them.

I quite like that he’s trying something but it’s not exactly working right now 
everyone is rotating position which is kind of cool but there’s a degree of chaos to it
I feel like this could work really well with a targetman like Solanke up front instead of someone (Saka?)

I can’t help thinking that all the other England players think Foden’s a Brian. He rarely seems to get passed to, if anything they go around him, never gets a sniff at set pieces etc etc.
Just by looking at him I’m inclined to agree with them. Looks like the sort of kid who never had his pencil case emptied out in the school corridor so he’s got the thinnest skin in the world. I do also think he’s absolute silk as a player though.
