I love Burn as well but I think he’s playing above his level at the Toon if you know what I mean (As is Murphy). Tino and Hall on the other hand are so good.
Surprised by Henderson but also by Lewis-Skelly, feels like he’s also not quite there for an England call up.
I back the Rashford call up, he’s been good in the past and seems to be coming back into form with Villa so I feel like he’ll slot in easily and hopefully with some confidence.

I can only imagine this is Tuchel just trying out some ideas. The idea that we’d be going into the next tournament with Walker, Henderson, even Kane, at their ages seems a bit shit. Like I’d take Burn and Kane right now but when the tournament rolls around they’re going to be almost mid 30s

Hopefully he’ll start building a slightly younger full squad with no ancients

Rashford has played 4 games for Villa.

BDB and Murphy are playing way above their station. Look how shit Murphy was for years 2 loans in the Championship since he’s been with us.

Not that old in today’s game though is it and in the case of Kane, we just don’t produce enough strikers playing at that kind of level now. Back in the day we’d be leaving guys like Wright or Fowler behind, now we’d love that kind of player available.

You know what, I’ve not been a believer. I have thought for awhile that Nottingham Forest will fall apart sooner or later but yknow what, maybe they will get CL. And that wouldn’t be a bad thing at all

Beto just won a pen for us by kicking the floor instead of the ball :joy: Deffo right to be overturned.

In London, Mags are about. Can’t wait for tomorrow - if I wasn’t with the Mrs I’d try and sneak it.

The West Ham new manager bounce is going well.

Ha, cursed it! Still not a bad result if it stays this way.

Genuinely just had to google who West Ham’s manager is

It’s okay their fanbase will implode when they don’t get top four or win something and they’ll fire him for someone else.

Sullivan believes his own hope too much

I stand by my opinion that West Ham as a club massively benefitted from lockdown. Just before it happened they were in a right mess and fans trying to get to the owners mid game to have it out with them, Mark Noble having arguments with fans and the whole of the London stadium was toxic. Few months later they come back, no fans, no doubt a much better environment to play in and it starts turning round. By the time fans are back they are doing well again and the fans have forgot about all the gripes they had before. Football fans are fickle - myself included. Slowly but surely they have been creeping back to that point.

Wasn’t he also arguing with the owners as well or am I not remembering that correctly?

Can’t say I remember myself but sounds about right

That offside call looked pretty suspect

Doesn’t matter. Liverpool to collapse like arsenals 2012 quadruple push.

Nah Bruno G stood right in front of the keeper

Is that why it was given? I’m listening on silent so didn’t hear, doesn’t look that close to Kelleher

What a finish!

Can keep that shirt now @neddy
