Was listening to an interesting convo on this broadcast subject on The Guardian Football Pod earlier this week.
It’s got to be down to how competitive the respective leagues are across Europe. It’s a forgone conclusion that PSG are going to win Ligue 1 with their eyes closed an they’ve got rid of their superstars (Neymar, Messi, Mbappe - for the better!) so no one tunes in.
And the thing with EPL most of the games are super competitive
Well, Serie A has a broadcast deal in UK with TNT Sports for example. Ligue 1 doesn’t.

After watching them in the PSG game it definitely isn’t over until it’s over with Spurs.
